Sage Technology has won a prestigious international award for a major system implementation project. The company was honored by ConnectWise for achieving the fastest implementation of their product in the 2007.
There were more than 400 implementations of the ConnectWise system across America, Europe and the Asia Pacific in that time.
Sage Technology Managing Director, Lynda Bertoli, said the award was recognition of the "quality of work we do and the knowledge and skills we possess."
She said a key to the success was that Sage treated itself as a client for the project.
"ConnectWise is a critical system in the operation of our business and was selected after an international search to identify the best solution for our needs. We applied all of the processes to this project as if we were working for one our clients and this ensured that we had a clear plan for implementation and tight project management," Ms Bertoli said.
"Our experience of implementing ConnectWise in our own business has give us valuable experience and insight to support other organisations who choose to use ConnectWise in Australia," she added.
ConnectWise CEO, Arnie Bellini, said the award exemplified Sage Technology's commitment to operational and service excellence.
Sage Technology Business Services Manager, Sharon Middlemiss, and Principal System Engineer, Linda Dedynskyj, accepted the award at the ConnectWise Partner Summit and Boot Camp in Florida. As system managers, Sharon and Linda were key members of the Sage implementation team.
More than 700 technology solution providers, exhibitors and speakers attended the summit to examine current challenges and emerging opportunities in the IT industry. Attendees shared best practices during interactive breakout sessions while also hearing from top business experts on proven ways to grow their companies efficiently and profitably.
Co-founder of Apple Computers and Silicon Valley legend, Steve Wozniak, shared his views on the technology industry's past, present and future as keynote speaker at the summit.
